Christopher Epes

GENERAL COUNSEL, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Christopher Epes is responsible for the oversight of the legal  functions of the firm and is a member of the firm’s Risk Committee and Cybersecurity Committee.

Mr. Epes also served as the firm’s  CCO since its inception until June 2020.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Epes was a Senior Vice President with Lehman Brothers. He served as an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel, advising the fixed income division as well as operating in various business capacities, most recently within the Global Special Opportunities group. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Mr. Epes was an Associate at the law firms of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, and Hawkins, Delafield & Wood, specializing in structured finance, banking and corporate and municipal securities. Mr. Epes earned a J.D. from Fordham Law School and a B.A. from Brown University. He is a member of the New York State Bar.
